Abstract: Astronomy Education is Looking Up! An Electronic Assisted Astronomy Proposal for future K-12 and Higher Education Courses A Content Analysis
Bio: Mark Zdziarski is the Current Chief Observatory Technician and College Laboratory Technician for Engineering, Earth and Environmental Science at the College of Staten Island. He was also the Geoscience Labatory Technician for the former Earth and Environmental Science Dept. at New Jersey City University for 14 years assisting in running the EESC labs and programs. During his Tenure as President and Observatory Chair for the North Jersey Astronomical Group based out of Montclair State University, he developed the Electronic Assisted Astronomy (EAA) program for public outreach, which is used to this day. The technique has also spread to Amateur Astronomers, INC., which is based out of Union College and utilized during weekly public outreach events at Sperry Observatory. As the Observatory Technician at College of Staten Island, he holds weekly public telescope nights there along with simultaneously conducting Observational Astronomy labs onsite utilizing the same EAA technique.
